Terms of service

The assessment asks sixteen questions and returns a prescribed starting dose — how many days a week to work for yourself right now — with a pattern and a set of conditions for increasing it.

It is general information. It is produced by a scoring model applied to your own answers, not by a person reviewing your circumstances.

It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, employment or clinical advice, and it is not tailored to your situation. It does not take into account your contract, your obligations to your employer, your registration conditions, or anything else specific to you.

Before acting on it, take your own advice from someone qualified to give it — a lawyer about your employment contract, an accountant about your finances, and your insurer about your cover.

Your decisions about your career, your income and your practice remain entirely your own.

Nothing here says you will earn a particular amount, reach a particular size, or succeed at working for yourself. No such claim is made anywhere on this site, and if you think you have seen one, tell us and we will fix it.

Results depend on your market, your profession, your effort and a great deal outside anyone’s control.

Registering interest as a founding member places you on a list. It is not a purchase, not a subscription, and not a contract. No payment is taken and no price is quoted.

Pricing has not been set. When it is, you will be told what it is before anything is asked of you, and you are free to decline. Registering places no obligation on you and does not entitle you to a particular price.

Places are recorded in the order they are registered. If more people register than there are places, we will say so.

How we handle what you enter is set out in our privacy policy. In short: it is not sold, not shared, and deleted whenever you ask.

Please don’t:

• Submit the forms automatically or in volume.
• Try to interfere with the site or get at other people’s information.
• Copy the assessment, its questions or its scoring model to build a competing product.

The questions, the scoring model, the wording and the design are ours. You are welcome to use your own result however you like, including sharing it.

This is an early-stage product run by one person. It may be unavailable, change without notice, or stop entirely. No uptime is promised, and nothing here commits us to keeping it running.

Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Beyond those consumer guarantees, and to the extent the law allows: the assessment is provided as is; we are not liable for loss arising from decisions you make after using it; and where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to supplying the service again.

Since the assessment is free, no fee has been paid that could be refunded.

These terms may change. Material changes will be notified to anyone whose email address we hold.

They are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
